I know it has been a while since I posted a post, but I 'm back. I have been looking at more ways to search mudstones and it has not been easy. I am still looking for a new microscope and for a better way to take pictures. So far, I still have the small measuring microscope and I am using a Canon DSLR camera with a microscope T-mount. The following pictures, below, were taking at 50x and at 100x setting and they look good to post. Enjoy the pictures and Enjoy life! As soon as I find an I.D. for the pictures, Then I will post it.

Sorry for delay of me writing again. Issues were at hand and needed some time off.

I am still taking pictures and have been trying to put them together and to post them.I am also looking for new reading materials on fossils and microfossils, just to update my knowledge on them. I do have just (1) specimen to share today and it is of one that I have posted before, still it's a good one to see again.

Is this a land or a sea or fresh water micro crawler? The digital pictures were taken at the 250x settings. This micro specimen was found on a small rock (part of my rock collections).

Well, a very small micro crawler is what I call it, anyway.

It seems that it was only a few days ago that I posted a new post. But, that was a few months ago. Wow!
I do have new digital pictures on microfossils that I found on mudstones and other stones. So, I will be posting them very soon. I want to say thank you to all of the ones who have visit my web site and I hope that every one is having fun with live, just as I am. I would also like to say "BE STRONG" in all things.
I just got a haircut from a new place in town and I told her to cut my hair so as to look more handsome for my lady friends and she laughed. Then she said, "Don't worry, I'll fix you up." Well, the haircut looks good on me and others have said that it does.

Ok, for the new pictures, I will work on them and post them for all to see.

Enjoy life!

No Issues At Hand?
The more I try to get going here at my web site, the longer
it becomes between my posting of new pictures of microfossils.
I did have some issues that were on me and I decided to not let
them run my life anymore. Anyway, enough of that and on to
enjoy life.
I do have new pictures of micro specimens that were viewed under
the 100x/250x settings. Since, I am not a professional in the working
field of palaeontology, I have to be careful on saying that my specimens
are microfossils. I am willing to let others to say that they are microfossils.
The specimen that I'm posting today was found on soft sand like rock.
This rock was split at one point and I know now that this type of rocks
are the ones to view under the microscope to find specimens.
My first impression on viewing this find was a water dwelling micro-
plant. Can I say that for now?
I took pictures of it in the regular mode and then, also, put the picture in
a negative mode view point. The fine details of it were more clearer to me
in this mode.
Go the gallery and see it for yourselves(water dwelling micro-plant).
Also, remember, if anyone finds out the real name of this specimen,
tell me. That way I will change the title of it.
As always 'enjoy life'

I am still looking for more information on this micro-disk form and on the information that I have read. This micro-disk could belong to one of the following groups: (1) microscopic shells of marine planktonic, (2) tough-walled spores and pollen of plants, (3) cyanobacteria and (4) unknown.

When you are looking at the digital pictures (taken at 100x and 250x settings) ask this question “Is this an early process of the fossilization phase?”

Colorful, Colorfast Micro-Art on Stone
I found this micro-art on a stone just by change. Of coarse, it's not man made. The images were taken at 250x settings. I am calling this, for now, 'Micro-Art'. The questions I'm asking myself are, "How did this happen?" "Was this a living micro-organism at one time?" When I do find a good answer, I will post it.
The stone on which the micro-art was found, looks like granite. The micro-art is on a black(rock) grain embeded just below the surface of the stone. Anyway, any questions on this, please add your comment(s) on this post.
