ABOUT
Like I said, I have now the time and the tools to see small fossils. But, they were to small to be seen with the naked eye. So, I got a portable measuring microscope to see them clearly.(See picture on the left) This project was on hold since I was a small child. Now, 50 years later, I'm back to it. The microfossils digital pictures are from stones called hard mudstones.
Want to see any microfossils on stones/mudstones that you may find around your area?
All you have to do,is to pick up few of them and view them under the microscope.
To start, you will need:
1. A hand held USB (150x)digital camera build in microscope. Need a computer for hook up,take picture and save.

2. Then, upgrade to a portable measuring microscope with a 10x reticle,2x, 5x and 10x objective lens. To view at 20x,50x and 100x levels. I also got 20x and 25x (eye piece),so I can view up to 250x.

3. Will also need a digital camera. I am using an 8.2 mega pixels Samsung L100 camera on the pictures I took.

4. Camera mount? Well, email me at ocfossils@yahoo.com
and I will sent you details how I did it all.
5. Just Google Search items and it will take where you can find them.
If, I can do it. Then, you can also take pictures of microfossils.
